This is nonprofit organization dedicated to positively promoting pole as an athletic sport run by voluntary members of the pole sports field from across the globe and created to foster the development of pole sports throught the country. The federation supports state Association to unify the pole sports field.

By setting in place format that will be accepted by National Sport governing bodies the pole sports federation India’s goal is for the IOA to recognize pole sports as an official sport and become part of the National Games.

What is Pole sports ?

In simple terms pole sports is as similar and as different to pole fitness and pole sport, as gymnastics is to ballet and yoga. Pole Sport (as with gymnastics) is a sequence of strict and regimented movements as defined by a set of rules known as the Code of Points which is set by the international governing body of Pole Sports, the IPSF. Athletes who enter Pole Sport competitions MUST adhere to this code and are awarded points (according to the code) for their precision of the moves completed. These moves are the base and core that is used in other branches of pole.

Pole fitness uses these moves to promote and encourage physical fitness, strength and flexibility purely for physical benefit.

Pole sports takes the core moves and incorporates them into an artistic and interpretational freedom of movement inspired by music, a feeling, a story and any number of things that the performer draws inspiration from.

We look to achieve this vision and mission through our five key objectives as listed below:

1. Pole Sports Focus ‐

We want to enable and inspire all coaches, judges, athletes and enthusiasts to enjoy pole sports, by providing opportunities for individuals to engage, develop and realise their potential within all aspects of the sport, regardless of their age, background, ability or disability.

2.International Success ‐

We want our sport to be recognised nationally and internationally with representation at multi-sport events, the World Games, and eventually at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

3. Delivering Partnerships ‐

We want to develop strong internal and external partnerships, at all levels, in order to provide opportunities, structures and support for Pole Sports and the wider pole community.
